La dolce vita

Yes, la dolce vita , "the sweet life.". One of my guilty pleasures is getting a blueberry danish from San Francisco Street Bakery at the farmers market and a latte from Dancing Goats Espresso (Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters) then take a nice walk along the Percival Landing boardwalk.

To market to market

Busy day at the Olympia Farmers Market! It is incredible to see how much they have grown in the last 20 years from the old days across the street from Percival Landing.

Should I stay or should I go

At least I know where the beach is.

Welcome to Fort Worden

Always a good day for a walk at Fort Worden when the sun is out, I didn't see Richard Gere.

Paris

I picked this book up this afternoon at the free book box downtown, could it be a sign? Well one can hope so.

French family on the road

While on a walk in downtown Port Townsend today, I spotted this van of a French family just living the dream of traveling down the road. How cool, I wish them well on their journey. Bon voyage!

Farmers market day

Beautiful day

Look at that sunshine, great morning to get in a walk!

Our lives and livelihoods depend on saving the Salish Sea

I found this great article on the Salish Sea this morning in the Pacific NW Magazine section on the Seattle Times this morning. "A new book points out that over the past 200 years, humans have drastically altered the Salish Sea to a degree previously associated only with the geological creation of ecosystems. As a result, we have diminished the ecosystem’s ability to provide for us."

Cheese

I have been craving a grilled cheese sandwich all day long, so I made some lentil soup to go along with it.

It's a beautiful day

Another beautiful sunny day but when will it warm up!
